Owen Hargreaves showered praise on ElNenyafter he scored one of the goals in a 2-0 away win over the Magpies. According to Owen Hargreaves on Premier League TV, Egyptian national team midfielder ElNeny offers the Gunners something different with his aggressive approach in the middle of the park.

Owen Hargreaves also said that it would be an icing on the cake if ElNeny could add goals to his game like he did against the Magpies on Sunday afternoon.ElNeny had not scored a Premier League goal until the Newcastle United game at St. James Park at the weekend.

ElNeny gave the Gunners the lead inside five minutes with a well taken shot after Arsenal skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyanghad mishit the cross from Spanish fullback Hector Bellerin.Aubameyang added a second goal for the visitors in the second half off the assist from the impressive Gabriel Martinelli.

The win over the Magpies moved Arsenal two places up the table from 11th to 9th spot as far as the Premier League table is concerned.

The result against Newcastle United is a morale booster for the Gunners ahead of their biggest game of the season. Arsenal face their biggest match of the season when they host Spanish La Liga team Villarreal at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night needing to win to progress to the Europa League final.

Arsenal lost 2-1 to the Yellow Submarines in the first leg of their semi-final tie in Spain last week and will need to win the second leg to secure a meeting with the winner of the semi-final tie between AS Roma and Manchester United in the final.
