While he was on BT Sports recently, Owen Hargreaves said Manchester United need to sign three quality players if they want to end their run of five years without a single trophy.
According to Owen Hargreaves, Manchester United must strengthen their central defence, central midfield and right wing. The ex-England international stated that his former club should go after Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane or Paris Saint Germain (PSG) player Marquinhos to boost their centre back department. Frenchman Varane has been linked with a move to Old Trafford with reports claiming that he plans to leave Real Madrid this summer. Varane is focused on the Euro 2020 tournament and his future at Real Madrid is expected to be decided afterwards. For Brazilian international Marquinhos, it might be difficult for Manchester United to lure him away from PSG. Continue reading →

Player turned pundit Owen Hargreaves opines that Liverpool have the easiest draw in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The former Manchester United man says the Reds are lucky to have Porto as their next opponent when the continental tournament restarts in February.

Hargreaves says the German serial champions cannot take Klopp away from the Merseyside. There are better chances for Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann and former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel. Continue reading →
